I am delighted, humbled, grateful, and excited to report that, through your generous giving to the Lord's work at Bethel, we were able to close our financial year in the black. This is particularly amazing and wonderful when we remember that, on top of our regular operating budget, you also gave over $2.7 million to the Bridge Fund, our ongoing facility expansion project. To God be the glory.

While buildings and finances are useful tools (in not necessary ones), they are never the essence of ministry; rather, the work of the Gospel is soul-work -- people service. Would you pray for our ministry staff and members of our Session (the elder board) as we get away this coming weekend for a 24-hour retreat?

And, remember our annual congregational meeting in order to affirm new elders and deacons, immediately following our worship service Sunday morning.
